Porsche Centre Mid Sussex Come to SHY Automotive to launch the all-new 911

SHY Automotive recently had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive launch event for the latest Porsche 911, known as the 992.2, in partnership with Porsche Centre Mid-Sussex. It was the first time that attendees had an opportunity to see the latest evolution of an icon in the metal, and an introduction for many to our purpose-built vehicle vault.

The evening was centered around four examples of the Porsche 911, including the brand-new 992.2 Carrera Cabriolet, 992.2 Carrera Coupe and, for comparison, the 992.1 Carrera S. For a unique display we also had a 992.1 Carrera hoisted into the air aboard one of our 550kg galvanized steel vehicle beds, offering a new angle.

Guests could mingle and admire the new sharper design, powerful MatrixLED headlights and learn more about the updated technology and more powerful engines, all while enjoying a selection of fresh food and drink.

With a hot slice of pizza in-hand, and anything from a glass of champagne to soft drinks to wash it down, guests spent a relaxing evening in our lounge, before enjoying a sneak peek into the vault, which can hold up to 590 vehicles. With full fingerprint access and 24/7 security it’s a rare opportunity for visitors to experience the facility in all its glory.

They can, however, appreciate SHY Automotive’s dedication to providing the very best car storage solution, with an example storage system hosted within the lounge. It showcases the VIP treatment that each car receives, with a dual sprinkler fire suppression system, dedicated 13-amp power supply and shows the car resting on the 550kg bed, elevated off the floor. The unique racking system provides further protection against theft or accidental damage.

Our dedicated lounge area, as well as providing the ideal space for events, is an area open to all of our storage customers.With a coffee bar, workspaces, a boardroom and complimentary wi-fi and soft drinks, it’s the ideal place to catch up on some work while you drop off or pick-up your car. Outside of that, it’s available to all of our customers free of charge, should they wish to host an event of their own.
